Tom Milton

Principal Building Performance Consultant

Tom began his professional career in MEP Building Services Design, working across a variety of sectors to ensure buildings were designed to meet the client needs whilst achieving the onerous legislative and voluntary sustainability targets. This led him to specialise in the design of high efficiency office buildings before focussing on the use of digital twins on the wider commercial real estate market to improve the performance and value of existing assets.

Through all his work, Tom endeavours to optimise and maximise building performance through the application of engineering science, practical knowledge, and commercial awareness.

His affinity for problem-solving and creativity allows him to tackle even the toughest operational challenges in the built environment. He is a strong advocate for the move towards a Design for Performance culture in construction and has extensive experience in a data-driven approach to financially sensible building improvement
