Meadows and Ross were appointed to support the development of a new 3-storey hotel located at Shore Street in Oban, Scotland. This included a full daylight and sunlight assessment in accordance with BR209 ‘Site layout planning for daylight and sunlight’. Dynamic simulation modelling techniques were used to determine the impact the proposed development would have on the existing neighbouring buildings.
